Family Outing - Windsor

My parents and I drove up to Windsor earlier than the rest, since they still had to work the day we decided to leave for Windsor for family vacation and 4th of July getaway.
As soon as we arrived and checked in, the first thing my dad wanted to do was to scout the area for a good fishing spot. Especially because we couldn't catch anything for the past two days at San Pablo Dam, we were really getting desperate to catch a fish, or anything alive for that matter!

So we drove up Russian River, found a decent spot, and he decided to give it a shot. Skeptic, my mom and I reluctantly followed, since the water was very shallow, and it was right next to a small dam, but after about 5 minutes or so, he came back with a smile, and a small fish on the hook! That sure made the day! Little did we know, that this was going to be the first, and the last fish that we would catch in this trip... :-)

On our way back, we came across a small bridge, which was a one-way bridge! We thought it was cool, and so we took some pictures.

The second day at Windsor, we spent some more time fishing, though we got tired of waiting and not catching anything, so us kids ended up going swimming in the Russian River. A bit muddy, but very cool and clear water.
This is Michelle and my sister trying to swim through some deeper parts of the river...

This is Michelle and I trying to catch as much "splash" as possible, in the picture.
When done and tired from all the swimming and fishing (and not catching anything), we went home and then decided to go golf. I was busy practicing, so these great shots were taken by Josh. Great pictures!!!
