San Francisco Air Show

It was our first time attending an air show, and it was great! We managed to find a spot near the SF Maritime Museum, and it turned out the show was taking place literally in front of our eyes!
Just wanted to post some pictures I took during the show.

I thought the following show sequences were awesome! The planes flying so close to one another at an incredible speed, yet they are perfectly synchronized!

Then came the Blue Angels.

And they left, after a single fly-by. Apparently the visibility was too low and was too risky for them to continue the show. It was too bad, but at least I got to see them!

One Brilliant Rainy day

Everyone has a moment of brilliance, a moment when "it" just hits you. Such was a moment when we were driving out to SF for our company dinner this past Saturday. It was a perfect photography opportunity, with the rain and the fog surrounding the dimly lit city. Well, almost perfect, given that I was in a car in motion, and secondly, that I was actually driving.

So I do what I can do. Pull out the camera, ensure all the settings are good, and then pass the camera to my new assistance photographer, and tell her, go get 'em!

So here are some of the pictures that she took. Though the camera and the lens certainly makes for a good picture, there's always the most important quality of the picture, the photographer.

Well, you be the judge.
