...freely writing about my encounter and experience with Nikon D80 DSLR...
Summer retreat is a great time to unwind, relax, and just enjoy God's presence in our lives, as we enjoy each others' company, and the beauty of the nature around us.

I think Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful place that is nearby, and though the beauty is a subjective word, no one can deny how awesome God is, who created the beautiful forest, the crystal-clear lake, and everything in it.
And what better way to enjoy all this, than with fellow Christian brothers and sisters!
I ended up driving my Integra because we couldn't find the keys to one of the church vans in the morning. Here's the picture of kids who had to "suffer" through the cramped ride in my car, since, three people in the back, can be somewhat uncomfortable.

Practically everyone (with the exception of Miga and myself) in the group got wet. Very wet.
A lot of rides on that day, unfortunately, broke down on us. This is us running to ride the "Invertigo", only to find out half an hour later, that the ride was broken, and that it was closed indefinitely. Almost all the major rides broke at least once; I wonder if the change of management has affected the overall quality of the park? Hmm...
And then it was time to go home. Kids were overjoyed at the thought of going home. And we tried to capture that moment as they leaped with joy. Can you tell?

As soon as we arrived and checked in, the first thing my dad wanted to do was to scout the area for a good fishing spot. Especially because we couldn't catch anything for the past two days at San Pablo Dam, we were really getting desperate to catch a fish, or anything alive for that matter!
So we drove up Russian River, found a decent spot, and he decided to give it a shot. Skeptic, my mom and I reluctantly followed, since the water was very shallow, and it was right next to a small dam, but after about 5 minutes or so, he came back with a smile, and a small fish on the hook! That sure made the day! Little did we know, that this was going to be the first, and the last fish that we would catch in this trip... :-)
On our way back, we came across a small bridge, which was a one-way bridge! We thought it was cool, and so we took some pictures.

This is Michelle and my sister trying to swim through some deeper parts of the river...
This is Michelle and I trying to catch as much "splash" as possible, in the picture.
When done and tired from all the swimming and fishing (and not catching anything), we went home and then decided to go golf. I was busy practicing, so these great shots were taken by Josh. Great pictures!!!

I love having time off from work. And so when my parents were coming to visit for a week, I decided to take the whole week off, and just try to spend some quality time with them.
I called Jimmy, who recommended San Pablo Dam, though he did warn us of "you won't catch anything..." But we decided to try our luck anyways. Although it was a beautiful day, we didn't catch anything... So I just ended up taking pictures of the lake and some birds as they flew by the lake. Ah well! Better luck next time we go fishing!!!
Afterwards, we decided to hit the bowling alley, as the "bowling" is a Koo-family tradition, though I am not good at it...

I think my dad bowled one of his higher (note: not highest) score in the 5th game, our last game, of the night, at breaking 180. I was already getting tired and both myself and Michelle, we were wonder how our dad is able to bowl so well even at his age!!!
