San Francisco Air Show

It was our first time attending an air show, and it was great! We managed to find a spot near the SF Maritime Museum, and it turned out the show was taking place literally in front of our eyes!
Just wanted to post some pictures I took during the show.

I thought the following show sequences were awesome! The planes flying so close to one another at an incredible speed, yet they are perfectly synchronized!

Then came the Blue Angels.

And they left, after a single fly-by. Apparently the visibility was too low and was too risky for them to continue the show. It was too bad, but at least I got to see them!

Ethan - Weeks 3-6

Day by day, our boy grows stronger and louder. And chubbier. It's amazing. I could see his neck before.
Now, I cannot.
But he's still cute. :-)

Birth of Ethan Hyunmo Koo

Ethan was born on July 17th, 7:13 AM @ Oakland Kaiser, at 6 lb 6oz. Both the baby and mother are doing well and we are now adjusting to the infamous sleepless nights. But he is truly a joy to our lives and we already cannot imagine our lives without him.
I hope to update the blog with more details in the days to come, but alas, I am too tired today...

Eddie's Wedding

Michelle's cousin, Eddie, is now married. This was the first wedding where I was asked as a back-up photographer. Excited, I ended up shooting close to 300+ pictures that day.

I was having a blast taking photos of the wedding procession, but I also realized the true challenges of an event photography and just how far I was from where I wanted to be...

Here is the slideshow that is linked to our Church Photo-site.

Oakland Zoo

Slideshow of our church's zoo outing. My mom thought that I was out at the zoo with the youth group, when I told her that I was out with my church; it didn't occur to her that grown up folks would visit the zoo...

Kite Flying: Another Day

This time, we went kite flying with a few folks from the church. Sunny, Hannah and Bonnie all ended up buying the same octopus kite as the one Michelle already had, but they came in all sorts of different colors!

Kite Flying: Day One

Since the day my old kite broke (someone stepped on it and broke it...), I've always wanted to get another. Michelle got one for me a few months ago, but then I got sick and then it was winter so we couldn't go.

Well, spring is here, and so it's time for kite flying!
