RBC - Sunday picnic

I forget the reason behind this picnic... but it was a nice day and I think we had fun just hanging out and sharing meals together...

Volleyball action...
And some group picture time~!

RY - Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures of Richmond Youth group members...And some pictures of RY Sunday worship service...

BBQ time!

We were invited to an old friend's place for an afternoon of barbeque and meet new friends and just to hang out. I love hanging out with Wonjoo noona, because I get to meet a very different group of people, and from these different backgrounds and history, which I find is a very humbling experience.
We stopped by a local market to grab a bottle of wine; hate going place empty-handed!
She was so organized! She kept the trash cans separated, as you can see in the picture above...

Happy Birthday Jonathan!

So a few of us decided to throw a semi-surprise birthday dinner for Jonathan. Jun JDSN from RY wanted to throw a small dinner get-together, but while speaking with Uncle Jin about the dinner, I felt we should open up the dinner to the whole church and ask whoever can come, to come and celebrate. So we did, and it ended up being a large group!
I have not been to the Elephant Bar before, and though the food wasn't all that great, it was the great service, great company, and we all had great time.
Afterwards, while on our way back to our car, we decided to take some more random photos...
First the pose...
Get ready...
then Jump!

RBC Praise Team

All of these shots were post-edited with Adobe Lightroom... the power of digital photography comes into play when it is coupled with a powerful tool, such as this...
Our mixer...
Mr. Grumpy...? :-)

Angels Camp Trip

Our family went for a quick trip at Angels Camp, just to enjoy each others' company, and to enjoy the nature. :-)
We passed through the usual windy hill, where there are hundreds (?) of wind power generators, but I was driving so I had to ask Michelle to take a few pictures in the car, and some of them came out quite nicely!

Then we went to a local cavern near Angels Camp, and this is a picture I took at the gift shop.
The cat sleeping outside the store, and believe it or not, I started sneezing non-stop after being near the cat, just for this picture.
This is what people did back in the days of Gold Rush, where they try to find rare minerals and gold in the stream of water, and while at it, my sister was trying to make some money too. Too bad all the gold was gone by now...
Hit the restroom before going down the caverns, but for some reason, I had this urge to take the picture of a lone faucet...
Anyone thirsty?
The entrance to the cavern...
Afterwards, we hit the local lake... and decided to cruise around the lake in a dinky little "fishing boat"!
